Festive sumalak Enter Engineering and Eriell Group
For the sacred holiday of Navruz, our partners Enter Engineering and ERIELL Group organized the preparation of festive sumalak in the courtyard of the Bunyodkor office.
According to tradition, its preparation, which is usually done by women, is a real ritual “Sumalak Sayli” (“Sumalak Holiday”), which calls people to friendship, brotherhood and cooperation. So on this day, tables were set with national sweets and treats, and professional musicians and dancers performed.
Employees of the companies joined in the festive celebration, were able to participate in the process of preparing the dish, stirring the boiling sumalak in the cauldron and making wishes, spinning in perky rhythms, listening to karnaichi virtuosos, applauding the performers of fiery national dances.
